A Pending Pod requests 4 CPU cores. Each eligible node has only 2 unallocated allocatable CPU cores, although current CPU usage is low. Why can scheduling still fail?
Published
- Increasing only the Pod's CPU limit reduces its CPU request
- The scheduler ignores requests whenever CPU usage is low
- Every Pod automatically receives the sum of all nodes' spare CPU
- Scheduling checks requested resources against available allocatable capacity
